U SUITE PROJECT (2006 TO 2020)

U Suite (also known as Utopia Suite) was launched at events in Toronto and Amsterdam in the summer of 2006. The project looks at contemporary utopianism and the letter U from many angles, and will continue to grow through the year 2020. It includes several related streams of work, or “chapters”, that explore the spaces between the worlds of photography, film, painting, and web art. These include the Leader Series (C-print, web, and installation), various web technology & social media experiments, and a series of short films and film-based works.
